CONTIUNITY MODULES

Pump Modules

Pump modules are the heart of the ContiUnity® product line. These modules feed all other modules at the desired flow rate. Different types of pump modules are available to accommodate the requirement for different flow rates.

Pump modules

This module uses a Gather gear pump. This pump is typically used for the main process flow or extractant solvent. This module generates a flow to the downstream module. It has a filter, pressure transmitters, and a manual ball valve in the inlet. A manually operated needle valve reduces the flow rate and enables the pump to operate at higher RPMs while delivering lower flow rates with fewer fluctuations. The outlet has a pressure transmitter, flowmeter, on/off valve, and a manual ball valve to zero the flow meter.

low flow rate pump modules

This module is built around a HNP annular gear pump. This pump has a flat pump curve and on-board ATEX speed controller. It has a filter, pressure transmitters, and a manual ball valve in the inlet. A manually operated needle valve reduces the flow rate and enables the pump to operate at higher RPMs while delivering lower flow rates with fewer fluctuations. The outlet has a pressure transmitter, flowmeter, on/off valve, and a manual ball valve to zero the flow meter.

diaphragm pump

This module is used as a utility and will not be used in the continuous process line. It is used for batch transfers. This module assists with product or waste transfer. Using a nitrogen gas-driven pump, the product can be transferred from either inlet (connection A or connection B), to either outlet (Process out 1 or Process out 2).
