Support modules

Support modules are designed to facilitate process control between the various key pieces of equipment. From pressure control to flow switching, these modules provide full control over your process variables without impacting the validation of other modules.​

Support modules

This module can generate back pressure or control flow rate from a pressurized source. It can operate standalone or receive an external flow or backpressure setpoint.​

The ContiUnity Flow and Pressure Control module features a dome-loaded regulator for exceptional precision backpressure and flow control across a wide range.

Flow direction selector modules

The purpose of this module is to switch the destination for an incoming flow. The module can be used for multiple operations, including waste diversion operation and product changeover operation. ​

The ContiUnity Flow Direction Selector module, enables automated process start-up, waste diversion, flush cycles and other dynamic process controls.

Feed switch over modules

This module can deliver pressurized fluid in a duty-standby setup of pressure cylinders. The duty pressure cylinder supplies the fluid at a constant pressure to the downstream module. The cylinder is pressurized with nitrogen and the liquid is transferred through the line by this pressure.

At the start one of the pressure cylinders is pressurized. At depletion of the pressure cylinder, a four-way valve switches the process fluid connection from the duty pressure cylinder to the standby pressure cylinder. ​

The ContiUnity Feed Switch Over module automatically delivers a continuous flow from cilinders with "dangerous" reagents.

Temperature control modules

The main purpose of this modules is to maintain the temperature of a processing module. This is done by adjusting the temperature of the Heat transfer fluid to the temperature setpoint, thereby heating or cooling the heat transfer fluid that is returned from the processing module. Cooling capability is dependent on the temperature of the cooling fluid used.

This Temperature Control Module can respond on a temperature setpoint, which it receives either internally or externally from the connected module.​

The ContiUnity temperature Control Unit is the thermostat in ATEX zone.
